Oh we can
absolutely off kime. I think we could have offed kime with a regular 6 attack. Do we yet know if there are full-on guards in this game? Or do guards just block a certain amount of damage going through?
For example, roman (or was it someone else?) said he was hit for 6 DMG. I am a god and I have 6 HP. He can't possibly have more than that, could he? Unless he had a partial guard that negated maybe 3 or 4 of that HP.
If this is true, that means an all out attack on kime for 8 DMG would most likely kill him. Now, according to what Dumpshock is telling us, we
are kime's guard. There could be other guards, sure. But even if they are, will they still be guarding kime after two nights of not being hit at all? And how much can they block of an 8HP attack?
Which brings me to my next point. Where the fuck are all the village vigs? There have been what, 4 total? In 3 nights? Maybe they can power up each night. If they choose to power up, they don't get a vig attack. But maybe they get other roles, like guards, immunities, seers, etc. And maybe they keep getting stronger and stronger with each passing night.
Notice that Teepo has been getting stronger. First a whelp, then a fairae dragon, and now a dragon. In the games, there are different 'tiers' of dragons that Ryu can transform into.
In the third game, the most basic dragons are Whelps. They are produced "by using any single Dragon Gene other than Force, Fusion, Infinity, or Miracle; they have slightly more HP than Ryu in his natural state, and about twice his physical attack power." Notice there are different
forms of genes. We've already seen "unactivated" and "failure" in our game.
After that, come "Dragons." These are made by combining two or more Dragon Genes, and different combos produce different results.
Then, the "Kaiser" dragon form. This is described as a single dragon capable of attacking
all enemies for massive non-elemental damage. In the third game, the Kaiser is created with a combo of dragon genes that includes the "Infinity Gene" but acts "out of the player's control" unless combined with either the
Failure Gene or the
Radiance and Trance Genes. The latter creates a more powerful and controllable Kaiser.
There is another "Infinity" form, but it sounds very convoluted and likely wasn't included in this phalla. Here is the quote spoilered if you care to read it.
InfinityEdit
The hero's ultimate power, which was renamed-in-translation almost as frequently as the Kaiser. In the original Breath of Fire, "Agni" combines all of the members of the party into a single, immense hybrid dragon with tremendous attack and defense power; it is obtained in the cave near Romero, from a hidden Dragon Shrine located underneath the pool of Cleansing Water, and is required to get the game's good ending. In BoF2, "Anfini" is a one-shot power that Ryu cannot use until he faces Deathevan's true form, at which point it revives all of his party members for the final battle; it is obtained in the Dragon Temple located just below Dragnier. In BoF3, Infinity is simply the name of the Dragon Gene that unlocks the Kaiser transformation. In BoF4, Infinity is a dragon transformation that only appears during a scripted event.
There is also a "Behemoth" gene that is a combo of all players. We saw a Behemoth attack on night 2.
I saw no mention of a "Faerie-dragon" on the wiki, but google has a few random links mentioning that word along with "Teepo." So who is Teepo? He's also from BoF 3, as is Rei (apparently Baidol). Teepo actually dies very early on in the game, apparently.
