He says he's fire-aligned, which could mean he's immune to fire. Our 4HP vig is too risky in that case. Do we hit him with a single 2HP? What if he has 4HP? What are the chances the village specials have more than 2HP? Seems kind of imbalanced if they do, considering they'll then know they're under attack and can call out for heals/guards/etc. Mafia have more than 2HP, but we're few and we have no other abilities to speak of (guards, heals, etc.) We have some immunities, but switching those around is like a shot in the dark. We'd have to guess what we're getting hit with. Honestly, I'd be tempted to hit dumpshock with both of our 2 point non-fire attacks, just to be sure. Then hit Taya with the 4-pointer.

Two problems with that:
1) Kind of a waste this early in the game. He could easily be lying. 2) Doubling the Myria and Cartel hits will likely reveal in the narration that they "worked together." Right now, there's speculation that the cartel is a separate faction.

Indeed, fear and ignorance is our goal. We need to keep them as much as in the dark and grasping as possible. Yes, there's a chance for us to take collateral, but it's a better chance.
The more people we hit, the better chance there is of them going down and the village being denied resources, even if it's just sheer manpower.
A quick back and forth with Akimbo confirmed there is no known way for us to bind with genes, so suck. But on the plus, that means there may be a way to bind we don't know about which will get us sweet powers, so there's that.

I hope there is at least something we can do grow stronger, at some point. I also hope there is a way for us to be made aware other than guesswork based on the theme, since: Having said that, familiarity with the setting is absolutely unnecessary, and will only provide the most minor of insight into the mechanics. At this point, it seems the village can only grow stronger and stronger, behind-the-scenes. I still think kime is grossly exaggerating his new power to goad an attack, but I don't doubt he has gained something. I wonder how many genes are actually out there. Presumably, 5 are now done (3 killed last night and 2 used to make a dragon and a whelp).

Ok, it seems like the vote kill is gonna be against INANTP unless some miracle reveal reverses everything. So I guess for now we just dust votes around a bit if we haven't voted to thwart random analysis?

So I guess for now we just dust votes around a bit if we haven't voted to thwart random analysis? No, just leave your vote as it is. Don't draw attention to anything. There are 20 votes on INANTP right now, so there's no way to analyze that wagon, really. The good thing about this day is that there will be no trend to analyze.

The one thing Baidol is right about. Hopefully they''ll try to hang him with it tomorrow. Might even try to hit him tonight with something.

Are the attacks we have listed on the daily decisions topic what we have decided for today,or just random names? I'm really curious as to ways we can kill Kime. Too (assuming he's telling the truth) powerful, and way too cocky. He gots ta go

This is all wild speculation:
He is Ryu. He can join genes and broods together, increasing his own power and perhaps granting the brood a power as well. Langly told me in private that genes and broods need a third party to come together. He had 6HP and our attack brought him down to 4. Even if he has a 2 point auto-heal, he's at 4/6 HP, hence his requests for heals and guards.
What he is likely not counting on is the mafia having 8 dmg total each night. If you guys want to focus fire on him tonight, that's fine. Let's just wait until later to make that call, though.

Per DumpShock PM:
"Ok total disclosure My vig allows me to do a 2hp hit using Fire, Frost, Thunder, Holy, or Dark per night. I'm also immune to fire. You have the guard up on kime so cool there. corvidae has seemed village in our conversation but he suspects he is dieing tonight. He told me to make contact with Cayrus. I'm waiting to see if he dies tonight before I contact Cayrus. Obifet claims neutral but has been quite in PMs and in thread. Baidol is getting hit with Dark element tonight by me..."
Oh...also, he thinks I'm a guard. Do with it what you can, since I am going to be really busy tonight, and may not be back on.

Interesting...
Makes me think that it would be a fine idea to take down Cayrus tonight.
And yeah, we can hold off on Dumpshock for the moment - seems like Smoove has a reasonable amount of influence there so we might be able to use that.

If he assumes that we will take note of his power/heals/guards and NOT attack, we could get a clean kill on him tonight. Maybe just using the 4hp and one 2hp hit. That would still let us divert our third 2hp hit to a third target. Maybe Cayrus?
This is all just my random speculation.

The Cayrus thing could be a total trap. If he's trying to put out feelers and see how people respond, he can give each person he PMs a different name to contact as an organizer, and when person x winds up dead, he looks at the list and finds out that person y was the one he told about them.
